Never Ending #Gloryroad (2014)
“I felt that this performance dealing with ambition and the quest for success [#GloryRoad]
could not just end with my arrival at the Place des Arts at 22 years old.
My personal road to glory will be a much longer and complex quest, and I feel that a part of me will forever walk on this road to success.”

Excerpt from the exhibition Step Inside The Process, presented in 2014 at Rack Gallery
The Never Ending #GloryRoad was performed for the first time nearly nine months after the end of his #GloryRoad. To visually represent this final reflection on the performance, the artist returns to the scene of the performance to walk a few miles in the presence of the photographer Frédérique Bérubé. He embodies that part of him that has haunted him for a long time, the ambitious aspect of his personality that will continue to manifest its presence until it is satisfied. A spectre walking on the road to fame, success and glory without ever stopping. |
